The Sexton Cafe Brulot
Theatrical serve for larger groups.
Ingredients
700ml - The Sexton Irish Whiskey
50ml - Sugar syrup
250ml - Freshly brewed coffee
1 - Orange peel studded with cloves
1 - Vanilla bean & cinnamon stick
Method
1. Add cinnamon and vanilla to The Sexton and allow to soak for a few hours or overnight.
2. Fill bowl with boiling water to warm. Discard water and add spice Sexton, then set alight using blowtorch.
3. Suspend clove studded orange over flaming bowl using long bar fork. Ladle flaming liquid down the orange peel until the oils run into the whiskey
4. Add coffee to extinguish flame and serve.
Garnish
Garnish with clove studded 'horseneck' twist.
